Brief Description: Polymorphic species with several subspecies. Perennial plant, brushwood-like, with a woody base. Upright sprouts, hairy or almost smooth, with height up to 1 metre. Leaves ellipsoid, ovate or almost circular with numerous glands. Flowers in spikelets formed at the ends of the sprouts. White, rosy or violet corolla. It bears flowers from May until October.
