Brief Description: Deciduous tree with height up to 40 metres. Almost spherical foliage. Ovate leaves with abruptly acuminate apex, cordate base and serrate margins. Yellowish-white flowers, almost in groups of 3-5 in drooping inflorescences. Lanceolate petals, longer than the sepals. Leaf-shaped bracts, oblong-obovate, whitish-green. The fruit is nutlet. It bears flowers in June.
