Brief Description: Herbaceous, annual plant. Upright sprouts with height 30-80 cm. Ovate to ovate-lanceolate, sharp-pointed leaves. Inflorescences of monogenic. Male flowers in compact bunches or ramified spikelets with length 2-6 cm. Female flowers in compact, spherical, sprawled out heads. The fruit is achene. It bears flowers from March until May.
