Brief Description: Deciduous shrub with upright, arched or climbing, spiny branches and height up to 1-3 metres. Compound leaves with 5-7 leaflets. Ovate, obovate or ellipsoid leaflets, serrate on the margins. Narrow pinnas. The flowers are solitary or in bunches. Rosy or rarely white corolla. The fruit is syncarp consisting of achenes that are enclosed in the fleshy and red during maturation floral receptacle. It bears flowers from May until June.
