Brief Description: Herbaceous perennial plant. Creeping sprouts, hairy, light-green, up to 25 cm. Thick leaves, ovate-triangular, with 5 lobes, dark-green, with short hard hairs on the upper surface and light green, with thick hairs on the underneath surface. Monogenic flowers, in racemes up to 37 cm long. The fruit is berry, hanging.

Particular Features: The juice of its fruit (squirting cucumber) has strong cathartic properties, but it is toxic as well, because in large doses it causes death.
