Location:  
Brief Description: Herbaceous, annual plant with upright, ramified sprout, 15-40 cm high. Base leaves with linear-oblong parts, numerous sprout leaves, with narrow linear parts. Sparse inflorescences, racemes. Purple-violet or occasionally rosy flowers, with straight or slightly curved stem. The fruit is follicle, oblong-ovate, hairy.

Particular Features: Genus Consolida includes some species that are cultivated as ornamentals and are known with the common name larkspur.
